inDrive Appoints Stephen Kruger as Chief Technology and Product Officer

November 30, 2023 – In a strategic move to bolster its technology and product development initiatives, inDrive, a leading global mobility and urban services platform, proudly announces the appointment of Stephen Kruger as its new Chief Technology and Product Officer.

As the latest addition to the inDrive team, Stephen brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as CTO at Careem (Dubai) and Head of Engineering at Grab (Singapore). With a proven track record of leading organizational transformations and navigating acquisitions with industry giants like Uber, Stephen is well-positioned to drive inDrive’s technology and product development strategies.

In his role, Stephen will spearhead the implementation of inDrive’s technology roadmap, playing a pivotal role in scaling the platform and introducing innovative features to support the company’s expansion into new geographies and business verticals.

With a background that includes roles at IBM, Xerox Research, and Sun Microsystems, Stephen holds 20 patents across patent offices in the USA, Europe, and China. Born and raised in South Africa, he is a graduate of Rhodes University with a Bachelor of Science in computer science and biochemistry and has completed the executive leadership program at Harvard Business School.
