Exterior: Innovative Aesthetics and Aerodynamic Prowess
The EQS SUV is the first all-electric luxury SUV from Mercedes-Benz, designed specifically for electric vehicles. Its innovative design combines functional excellence and aerodynamic efficiency with groundbreaking aesthetics. The exterior boasts generously modeled surfaces, seamless transitions, and dynamic proportions.
The front of the EQS SUV features a ‘Black Panel’ unit with headlamps connected by a light band and a deep black radiator grille with a three-dimensional star pattern. Daytime running lights, illuminated in a unique hexagon pattern, ensure recognition. The vehicle comes standard with DIGITAL LIGHT featuring a light band.
Dynamic lines define the side view, showcasing the vehicle’s aerodynamic efficiency and sporty character. Large 22-inch wheels, together with a muscular shoulder section, give the EQS SUV a robust appearance. The exterior mirrors are positioned for aerodynamics, and wheel arch claddings and side sill panels reduce perceived volume.
Aerodynamics are enhanced through various details, including underbody features inspired by Formula 1 cars. These measures contribute to the vehicle’s impressive Cd value of 0.26.
Interior: Space, Comfort, and Innovation
The interior of the EQS SUV is designed to provide ample space and comfort for up to seven passengers. Its generous dimensions include headroom, shoulder room, and elbow room, ensuring a comfortable experience for all occupants. The second seat row is electrically adjustable, offering flexibility in terms of knee room and luggage capacity.
With the second seat row folded, the luggage compartment offers a generous capacity of up to 2100 litres, and with the third seat row, up to 800 litres behind the second seat row and 2020 litres when they are folded down. The seat backrests can be divided and folded down in a 40:20:40 ratio, offering versatility for various cargo requirements.
The EQS SUV features a third seat row with two additional individual seats. These seats fold up from the load floor mechanically, and an EASY ENTRY function for the second seat row enhances accessibility to the rear.

Chassis and Driving Modes
The chassis features AIRMATIC air suspension with continuously adjustable damping ADS+. Ground clearance can be raised by up to 25 millimetres to handle varying driving conditions. The EQS SUV offers multiple driving modes, including OFFROAD for off-road adventures.
DYNAMIC SELECT allows the driver to tailor the vehicle’s characteristics, including drive, ESP®, suspension, and steering. At higher speeds, the vehicle lowers, and at lower speeds, it raises. The EQS SUV is equipped with transparent bonnet technology, providing a virtual view under the front of the vehicle.
