White is among the most popular colours for cars worldwide and has long been one of the choices for Honda models. There are various shades of white available and in 2009, Honda Malaysia introduced Taffeta White for the 8th generation Accord VTi-L as a new premium colour choice. The popularity of this colour led to it being offered for other models as well.

Now the company has replaced Taffeta White with White Orchid Pearl as its new premium colour for the Jazz, City, BR-V and HR-V. The new white colour has already been available with the Civic and Accord models. With the latest inclusion of the four models, White Orchid Pearl is now available for the entire Honda Malaysia line-up in 2018.

The new premium white colour will be available for the BR-V and HR-V from the third week of February 2018.

Since its introduction for the two models earlier, White Orchid Pearl has received positive response from customers and to date, it has been on 38% of the Civics and 33% of the Accords delivered nationwide. Following the increasing demand of White Orchid Pearl, the CR-V was also introduced with the new premium colour last year and 26% of the units delivered are in this colour.

Being a premium colour, there is a surcharge when a customer specifies White Orchid Pearl – RM120 for the Jazz and City petrol variants, and RM300 for the BR-V and HR-V.
