UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has appointed Fattah Amin – an actor well known in the Malaysian movie and TV industry – as brand ambassador for the Toyota C-HR compact crossover SUV.
“Many Malaysians would have seen Fattah Amin in some of our advertisements during the launch of the Toyota C-HR earlier in the year. Now, with him as our Toyota C-HR Ambassador for the exciting crossover model, we will be able to leverage on his strong following to create more awareness for the product as well as the brand in general,” said Ravindran K., President of UMW Toyota Motor.
Fattah, one of the celebrity drivers in the first season of the Vios Challenge that is part of the TGR Racing Festival, has been driving the C-HR for a month and has enjoyed the experience with it. “This is definitely a car with a strong character and I like the stylish and sporty look. In fact, the fresh design is unlike any other compact crossover and many of my friends and followers are impressed by it too.”
“The 1.8-litre engine has just the right amount of power with a smooth and stable ride. And there’s also enough space to bring home things that I may find along the way!” he added.
Priced from RM150,000 (with SST but excluding insurance, for private registration in Peninsular Malaysia), the C-HR has been one of the top-selling Toyota models in Malaysia since being launched in March this year. As with many Toyota models distributed by UMWT, the C-HR comes with a 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage.
