The world’s automotive part suppliers will be converging into Bangkok, Thailand this coming 5-8 April 2018 (days 5-7 are trade days while day 8 is a public day) at Hall 101-104 BITEC, Bangkok. The theme for this year’s convention titled “Innovation Clean for the Future” focuses on the future development of the automotive industry gearing towards electrically driven hybrid and battery powered cars.
Thailand is the largest automotive producer among Southeast Asian countries and the Kingdom’s automotive industry has been continuously developed for over 50 years with strong support from both public and private sectors, together with major multinational automotive industry leaders.
With a production capacity of around two million vehicles a year, Thailand approximately has 709 Tier-1 and 1,700 Tier-2 and Tier-3 automotive parts suppliers, enough to supply all necessary components, from tires to structural components.
TAPA 2018 will feature 500 exhibitors consisting of leading manufacturers, exporters, distributors, sub contractors, manufacturer OEMs and REMs from Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Italy, Germany, China, the Middle East, South America, Russia making up 1,000 booths. The products and services on display include petroleum, lubricants, tools, dies, machines, vehicle, repair maintenance parts, maintenance and services, IT and management.
TAPA 2018 is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors from ASEAN, Asia, Australia, Europe, South American and Russia.
