To boost its profile, Falken tyres has been expanding its football sponsorship activities throughout Europe, encompassing 7 countries and no less than 19 clubs. It has also signed a multi-year collaboration with Liverpool Football Club as a Global Partner and Official Tyre Partner. The partnership will see the two brands work together to create unique experiences for fans and customers alike while opening further growth opportunities in Falken’s key global markets.

Stamford Tyres Malaysia (STM), as a representative of the Falken brand, obviously supports the tyremaker’s initiatives in this area of marketing and organised a special session for fans and customers to watch today’s Liverpool FC match with Stoke City FC.

The event was held at the Sky Level of First Avenue in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor and some 100 guests of STM attended. Many were customers who had purchased Falken tyres as well as tyres dealers, along with 10 winners of a contest that was held earlier on Facebook. The guests were offered food and drinks to go with their viewing session and had a great time in front of the big screen. They also had an opportunity to win a set of Falken tyres worth RM800 by predicting the score for today’s match.

The match ended with a draw, the first time in 9 games in the league that Liverpool FC did not score at Anfield, their home stadium. The result gives Stoke City a chance for survival though they are at the bottom three with only two games left.
