Although IMPUL is associated with high-performance Nissan models, for the new Nissan Serena S-HYBRID J IMPUL added to the range today, Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) describes it as ‘a new luxury variant’ of the hybrid MPV.

Features on this variant include chrome-plated J IMPUL front and rear lip spoilers (specifically made in Japan to create a high precision 3-dimensional design via injection moulding) to enhance aerodynamics and improve high-speed stability by generating 10% downforce. Those who already own a Serena S-Hybrid (C27 model) can also opt add the J IMPUL front and rear lip spoilers to their MPV.

There are also 18-inch IMPUL Millennium alloy wheels in a polished black finish which adds elegance, while the mocha-coloured diamond quilted premium leather upholstery for the seats further conveys the soul of Japanese luxury.

“The introduction of the New Serena J IMPUL is tailored for customers who seek and appreciate Japanese luxury, while the 2.0-litre S-Hybrid system continues to offer best-in-class fuel economy of 14.2 kms per litre, earning the Nissan Serena the Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) status. With thoughtful and innovative features like the Hands-Free Dual Power Sliding Door, Dual Back Door, 7 USB-Powered Ports, Intelligent Around View Monitor (I-AVM) with Intelligent Moving Object Detection (I-MOD), and Smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay, contribute towards making the Nissan Serena S-Hybrid the No.1  non-national midsize MPV in Malaysia,” said Christopher Tan, Sales & Marketing Director of ETCM.

As with the other variants, the Serena J IMPUL – priced at RM147,800 (without insurance in Peninsular Malaysia) comes with a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty while the accessories are covered by 3-year (or maximum of 100,000 kms) warranty.
