While many car companies have campaigns offering new models at special prices for the Thaipusam and Chinese New Year festive seasons, Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) does not forget its existing Ford customers too. It has planned a number of promotions aimed at owners who may be travelling longer distances than usual, to their hometowns or to go on holiday.

“We know that there will be a lot of long-distance travel during this festive season as many Malaysians return to their hometowns to spend time with their families. We are pleased to offer these promotions and service discounts, as part of our commitment to ensuring Ford owners get home safely,” said Syed Ahmad Muzri Syed Faiz, MD of Sime Darby Auto Connexion.

Until February 5, 2019, the Ford Festive campaign includes a free 27-point vehicle inspection by Ford-certified technicians who will ensure that vehicles are in roadworthy condition before customers head back to their hometowns for the celebrations or embark on road trips during the holiday.

This inspection is something that is important as many of the newer models have longer service intervals which mean they are checked after a longer time has passed.

Should any issues be found, the owner will be made aware and can have the necessary rectification done. Customers can also enjoy discounts of 20% on selected parts and selected packages. Additionally, further savings of 10% on labour fees for lubricant, brake and timing belt packages are offered. Only original equipment or genuine parts are used at authorised service centres, providing greater assurance of quality and peace of mind.

During the promotion period, any customer who spends a minimum of RM350 in a single receipt at any authorised Ford dealer will receive an exclusive Ford gift. All walk-in customers will also receive free angpow packets (while stocks last).

Customers can book service appointments online via the official SDAC-Ford website: www.sdacford.com.my or through the Ford Malaysia MY App. Alternatively, they can call their nearest Ford authorised service centre to make an appointment.
