Malacca has gained its first 2S Hyundai dealership with the company’s GDSI (Global Dealership Space Identity), the fifth outlet to be upgraded in Malaysia. The GDSI concept is inspired by nature and features floor-to-ceiling glass walls with vertical greens in the interior.
It is also visually appealing with the application of a subtle bronze look on the exterior and a modern architectural design. The interior includes modern furniture, new lounge chairs and warm lights that offer customers a comfortable and relaxing environment.
“The GDSI reflects Hyundai’s ‘modern premium’ brand concept which is not only reflected in its products but the services it offers as well,” said Lau Yit Mun, MD of Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM). He explained that with sales of premium Hyundai models such as the Santa Fe and Sonata having increased in the past few years, customers of these premium models would expect premium service quality when visiting a Hyundai service centre.
Customers can expect a premium customer lounge with high-speed internet facility, pickup/delivery service for the convenience of busy working executives (only applicable with prior appointment) and complimentary coffee making facility. Other services offered at this new 2S GDSI includes insurance & roadtax renewal, body and paint service as well as car-grooming services.
The first flagship Hyundai outlet in Southeast Asia which adopted the GDSI concept was opened in Kuala Lumpur in June last year.
In conjunction with its official opening, Premium Autoworld (the operator of the Hyundai outlet) is offering the discounts and promotions until May 31, 2016. There’s also a 15% discount on parts for older models which are no longer covered by the original warranty such as the Matrix, Getz, Avante, XD Elantra, Atos and NF Sonata.
