With over 423,000 City models gracing Malaysian roads since its debut in 2002, the new offering aims to elevate customer experience and satisfaction with its enhanced exterior, advanced features, and versatile options.
Mr. Hironobu Yoshimura, Honda Malaysia’s Managing Director and CEO, expressed the undeniable popularity of the City and highlighted the company’s commitment to providing value and diverse offerings. The new City lineup stands out with two RS variants: the e:HEV RS and Petrol RS, catering to varying customer preferences and needs.
The standout RS design elements include a striking Honeycomb Front Grille, distinctive Front Lower Grille, Rear Diffuser, Side Skirting, and an exclusive “RS” emblem. Notable exterior enhancements comprise new Front Bumper, Rear Bumper, and stylish 16-inch Dual-Tone Alloy Wheels.
The flagship e:HEV RS variant boasts the groundbreaking 1.5L e:HEV powertrain, setting new standards with its exceptional 109PS maximum output and 253Nm torque. Meanwhile, the 1.5 DOHC i-VTEC engine in the Petrol RS variant offers a robust maximum power of 121PS and a peak torque of 145Nm. A sportier driving experience is now accessible across the Petrol variants, equipped with standard Paddle Shift. The e:HEV RS variant also introduces innovative Deceleration Selector Paddles for seamless power regeneration and deceleration control.
Interior enhancements in both Petrol RS and e:HEV RS variants include wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™² connectivity, accompanied by a 7” TFT Meter. Upgraded features span 8 Speakers, an enhanced Multi-Angle Rear View Camera, new Display Audio interface, and a Rear USB Port (Type C) for all variants except the S variant.
