Meanwhile, Tan Chong Insurance Business Stream (TCIBS) and RHB Insurance have officially launched a new Return To Invoice and Guaranteed Asset Protection (RTI-GAP) insurance coverage – TC GAP Protector – with more affordable premiums exclusively for Nissan owners.

TC GAP Protector provides financial shortfall coverage with maximum benefit up to RM140,000 in the event of total loss of a vehicle due to accident, fire or theft, on top of the motor insurance reimbursement. Besides Malaysian territory, the insurance coverage also extends to Singapore and Brunei.

There are 3 plans available with maximum coverage up to 5 years. To have this insurance requires payment of a one-time premium payment which is based on original purchase price and number of years the insurance will be in effect. It is only available for new and existing vehicles with private registration and aged not more than 12 months after first registration. Depending on the model, the premiums range from RM241.14 to RM1,136.93.
