If you can’t afford a 4-wheeled Audi in your garage (yet), perhaps a 2-wheeled one can do for now. And Audi offers just such a product which costs 17,500 euros (about RM71,200) – the Audi Sport Racing Bike.

Of course, it doesn’t have a cabin to protect you from the sun and rain and you do need to provide the power to move it but like the cars with the Four Rings, you get a very technologically advanced vehicle for road use.

Audi developed the racing bike in cooperation with the CarbonSports company, a German bike specialist which has been in business since 1990.

The bike is unique in its overall design and the colour scheme was conceived by the Audi Concept Design Studio in Munich. The saddle is covered in Fine Nappa leather, a detail from the latest Audi R8. Likewise, T1000 carbonfibre, used in the cockpit of the R18 e-tron Quattro, is used for the lightweight frame (just 790 grams) and wheels.  The complete bike has a total weight of only 5.8 kgs.

The Audi racing bike uses the same type of carbonfibre as that used in the cockpit of the R18 e-tron Quattro (shown above)

Only 50 units will be available for sale worldwide and can be ordered through Audi dealerships.
