The exclusive distributor for Haval vehicles in Malaysia, Go Auto Sales Sdn Bhd, has opened a new dealership in Johor. Operated by Ang Trading and Motor Credit Sdn Bhd, which has decades of experience in the auto business, the new dealership is located at Taman Perindustrian Ringan Pulai, Johor Bahru and will serve customers and owners staying around the Skudai and Johor Bahru area.
Speaking at the official launch, Executive Director of Go Auto Group, Dato’ SM Azli SM Nasimuddin Kamal, said: “It’s with great pleasure that we welcome and congratulate Ang Trading and Motor Credit on becoming part of the growing Haval Malaysia family and wish them success in both sales and aftersales services. The company continues to achieve the primary goal to always improved the quality and enhance customer satisfaction.”
Dato’ Azli said that with this new dealership, there are now 7 dealerships in the south of Peninsular Malaysia with 4 being in Johor. Nationwide, there are now 24 locations nationwide where Haval vehicles can be viewed and purchased.
“Both of our current models are certified as EEV (Energy Efficient Vehicle) and the H1 comes with a 7-year unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty while the H2 has a 5-year warranty (or maximum of 150,000 kms),” he added.
Currently, the company is offering new customers and current Haval owners who are interested in buying new SUVs with savings and free insurance coverage up to RM3,000. Aside from the current promotion, the company will carry out nationwide roadshows to introduce and create greater awareness of the Haval brand and its products.
Earlier this year, Brand Finance, a recognized third-party brand evaluation firm in the UK, published a ranking list of the Top 100 most valuable auto brands for 2018. 21 auto brands of China were on the list, including Haval, which sells the most SUVs in China. Haval’s brand value jumped from 29th position in 2017 to 16th in 2018. This puts it among the global Top 20 and ahead of more established brands such as Ferrari, Tesla, Aston Martin and Volvo. More significantly, Haval is the highest-ranked among the most valuable auto brands of China.
