The ‘Ford Big Deal’ promotion is back with attractive packages for the latest Ford Focus Sport+ and Focus Titanium+, as well as the Kuga SUV. To enjoy this promotion, new vehicles must be booked and registered not later than December 31, 2013.

Due to popular demand, Ford is extending its attractive interest rate of only 1.38% per annum as well as giving away free shopping vouchers to customers who purchase either the all-new Focus Sport+ or Titanium+ variant. For Peninsular Malaysia, the interest rate is quoted based on 85% margin of financing for 5 years while for East Malaysia, the interest rate is quoted based on 80% margin of financing for 5 years.

Ford is also giving away free shopping vouchers for purchase of the Kuga during this promotional period.

Additionally, for peace of mind, customers will enjoy Ford’s 5-year/200,000 kms vehicle warranty and to reduce motoring costs, there’s the complimentary Ford Extended Service Plan (ESP). This is a 3-year (or maximum of 60,000 kms) service and maintenance programme which covers parts and labour free-of-charge. What makes it different from similar programmes is that In addition to routine inspection and maintenance services, Ford’s ESP also covers free replacements for selected wear-and-tear items, including sparkplugs, shock absorbers, engine belts, brake pads and wiper blades.

Focus sales continues to grow in Malaysia and following on its position as the best-selling global vehicle in 2012, the model retained its leading position in the first half of 2013 as well, based on Ford analysis of the latest Polk global vehicle registration. Data from the same independent organisation showed that Focus sales globally 20% percent globally in the first half of 2013 compared to the same period last year, to 589,709 units.

As for the Kuga, sales have also been increasing in the various markets where it has been launched progressively over the past year. Ford has increased production of the Kuga for the European market in anticipation of increased demand for the model and expects to sell 100,000 units this year. The model remains as successful as the original Escape (the Kuga is known as the Escape in North America) in North America where it has been the best-selling SUV in its class for 9 years.
