Changes in the top management at Proton to take effect next month will see the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer who will be Dato’ Ahmad Fuaad bin Mohd. Kenali. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the company and also an Executive Director.
Dato’ Ahmad Fuaad holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Computerised Accountancy from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom and a BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance from Brighton College of Technology, Brighton, United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
The current CEO, Dato’ Abdul Harith bin Abdullah, will take a new position in the DRB Group as the COO of its Automotive Distribution and Defence unit.
Also appointed to the position of Deputy CEO/Executive Director is Dato’ Md. Radzaif bin Mohamed who is presently that COO of the Automotive Distribution and Manufacturing unit of DRB-HICOM.
All three senior executives will assume their new positions on April 1, 2016.
