Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has opened a new 3S (Sales, Service & Spare parts) centre in Batu Pahat, Johor, its 18th 3S centre in Malaysia. The facility, operated by BP Auto Marketing Sdn Bhd, cost approximately RM6 million and will serve customers in Batu Pahat as well as Muar, Ayer Hitam, Parit Sulong, Yong Peng and Pontian.

With the number of registered Hyundai vehicles in the Batu Pahat area steadily increasing (at an average of 7,000 units a year since 2010), the service centre is geared to handle up to 520 vehicles per month.

Best-selling Hyundai model this year is the Elantra

Customers will have access to numerous amenities when they send their vehicles for servicing and the premium customer lounge offers complimentary usage of computer tablets and wifi. Shuttle services are also available for those who do not wish to wait while their vehicle is being serviced.

HSDM is continuously expanding its 3S centre nationwide and welcomes partners for dealerships. “We see the importance in establishing our network of 3S centres to make it accessible and convenient for our customers whenever they need our service whether its getting their car serviced, repaired, replacing parts or even purchasing a new Hyundai car. We would like to be with them every step of the way from the moment they purchase their car,” said Lau Yit Mun, Managing Director of HSDM.
