Wing Hin Automobile Sdn Bhd, an appointed dealer of UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT), has upgraded its facility to a 3S centre which will now be able to provide customers with a full range of sales and after-sales services. The upgraded facility includes a Body & Paint (B&P) section where repair work can be done to Toyota’s high standards.

The upgrading also complements the efforts by UMW Toyota Motor to upgrade its nationwide sales and after-sales facilities,  including dealers’ outlets.

“We have been enjoying steady growth in our new vehicle sales, achieving a record of 1253 units per annum in year 2008,” said William Loh, Director of Wing Hin Automobile. He added that with this increasing trend in vehicle sales, there was also a corresponding increased demand for after-sales including body & paint repairs.

Mr Loh said that the decision to build the new facility was first initiated in 2006 with an objective to ensure that customers’ demands are not compromised and at the same time maintaining customers’ satisfaction. Together with the Body & Paint section, Wing Hin Automobile has invested RM39 million to upgrade its facility which is located in the Balakong area of Selangor.

The service facility can cater for more than 100 vehicles per day and has 49 service bays while the new B&P centre, with 71 bays, can repair more than 170 vehicles per month.

Wing Hin Automobile is part of the Wing Hin Group which began in 1974 as Wing Hin Auto Supplies Sdn Bhd. In 1974, they were appointed as a Toyota authorised Genuine Parts dealer. Today, their parts purchases from UMWT totals more than RM30 million.

The venture into vehicle sales begin when Wing Hin Automobile Sdn Bhd was appointed as Toyota dealer in 2004. Over the past 3 years, Wing Hin Automobile has recorded impressive sales averaging more than 1,000 units annually.
