New MINI Clubman is among the models available at the new facility

Sapura Auto Sdn Bhd now has a new MINI 4S (Sales, Service, System and Spare parts) centre to complement its BMW facility along Jalan Tun Razak in Kuala Lumpur. The new MINI facility, which occupies one and a half floors of Sapura Auto’s current 60,000 sq ft, 4-storey BMW 4S centre, is the first 4S MINI outlet in the Klang Valley.

The addition of the MINI Sapura is part of BMW Malaysia’s strategy of organically expanding its dealership network which will allow the MINI’s growing customer base more choice and convenience.

The new MINI Sapura 4S Centre will carry all MINI models including Cooper, Cooper S and the recently-launched Cooper Clubman and Cooper Clubman S.

“The opening of the new MINI 4S Centre in Sapura Auto is a testament of the MINI brand’s growth potential in Malaysia and also reflects the confidence we have in Sapura Auto. Over the last 5 years, the MINI has seen a compounded growth of 134.2% while Sapura Auto has established itself as an important part of the BMW network with a strong presence in Klang Valley”, said Geoff Briscoe, Managing Director of BMW Malaysia.

Speaking on behalf of Sapura Auto, Mohar Ibrahim, its CEO, said: “Given our successful partnership with BMW Malaysia since we began in 2006, it is a natural progression to expand into the MINI brand. This move shows our renewed commitment as a significant contributor to the fastest growing premium automobile brand in Malaysia.”

The concept and architecture of the facility reflects the essence of the MINI brand and complies with its stringent international-class specifications. Apart from the showroom, the new MINI Sapura has a special events corner, lifestyle and accessories display area, a designated counter to purchase parts and accessories and a capacity to display up to 6 cars at one time.
