Though not officially launched in Malaysia, Nasim Sdn Bhd (NSB) has reported that the initial batch of 20 units of Peugeot 207cc has been sold out and those who order now will have to wait at least four months for the next shipment.

"The sales performance of the 207cc is indeed good news for the company. It can be seen that the acceptance for Peugeot cars and also NSB as the official brand custodian for Peugeot is on the rise, said SM Nasarudin Tan Sri Dato' Seri Utama SM Nasimuddin, CEO of NSB.

The good news is probably due to renewed interest in 'lifestyle automobiles' as a few European brands have also launched coupe cabriolets for the local market recently. Automobiles Peugeot's ASEAN regional office is also pleased with the sales performance of the new car.
