Lucky draw for waiting Saga customers
   Author: Chips
Proton Edar will hold special weekly lucky draws for all of its customers who have booked the New Proton Saga, enabling them to collect their cars in approximately two weeks. The initiative is part of the carmaker's way of showing its appreciation for the overwhelming response since its launch in January.

"The response has been very encouraging. Even within the first month of the launch, we received 30,000 bookings", said Proton Holdings Managing Director, Dato' Haji Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, revealing that the number has exceeded 42,000 bookings to date.

The Shah Alam plant can produce up to 5,000 new Sagas a month on two shifts

"We hope our customers will be patient in waiting to drive their new cars home. We would like to thank all of them for their continuous trust in Proton and their support of our products. The weekly draw is one of our initiatives to speed up the delivery process," he added.

The draw will be carried out in the presence of an internal auditor and 10 lucky customers will be picked weekly where each winner will get to collect their new Saga within two weeks of each draw.

However, before the car can be allocated to them, the winners must have met all the buying criteria such as the settlement of the full downpayment and receipt of the Letter of Undertaking from the financier. Those eligible for the draw are customers who have placed a booking for the Saga via Proton Edar and EON branches or dealers, and are currently awaiting collection of their car.
