SISMA Auto Sdn Bhd, the authorised importer and distributor of Jaguar cars in Malaysia, recently conducted its first Service Clinic for Jaguar owners at its new 4S facility in Glenmarie, Selangor.

On hand to give their expert advice were specialists from the regional offices of Jaguar & Land Rover Asia, Danny Hinchin (Regional Aftersales Manager), James Knowles (Regional Technical Manager) and Tailin Chen (Regional Customer Service Manager).

During the personalised clinics, the 70 owners who attended were briefed on the diagnostic technology used in servicing their cars and had a chance to have discussions and voice any concerns to the three visitors. Each car was also given a free 40-point safety check.

Mr Chen, who had flown in from Jaguar’s Taiwan regional office, said he was pleased to be invited to Malaysia and to spend time talking to Jaguar customers face-to-face. “The Service Clinic was very successful from our perspective. Not only did customers gain a better understanding of their cars and SISMA’s servicing standards, we, at Jaguar, also benefited enormously by hearing directly from our customers.” 

Mr. Knowles, based in Bangkok, found Malaysian customers to be a very loyal group and was ‘overwhelmed by their love for Jaguars’. He noted that some customers owned three or four Jaguars and have been SISMA customers for many, many years.

Due to the positive response to the Service Clinic, SISMA Auto’s Chief Operating Officer, Mohamed Mustak Aboo Bakar said the company would no doubt run similar clinics throughout the year. “Our new showroom at Glenmarie is a perfect location for the clinics because it houses both the service centre and showroom under one roof.  It is very comfortable and our customers have told us they are pleased we have opened in this convenient location,” Encik Mustak said.

He revealed that the company had will have the latest Jaguar XF in Malaysia by April. SISMA Auto expects to sell close to 150 Jaguars this year with sales of the new XF surpassing expectations. “We already have pre-orders for the Jaguar XF. I would urge interested customers to contact us quickly because the demand for this award-winning vehicle is incredibly high worldwide.”
