Free cars for three lucky Toyota customers

‘Buy one, get one free’ is a promotional offer that is not often used in the car industry since the products are expensive but once in a while, companies like UMW Toyota Motor will offer customers such a deal and for three lucky customers who purchased new Toyota vehicles during the Chinese New Year period, there was indeed ‘one free’ with their purchase.

The ‘New Year, New Drive, New Prize’ contest - between January 1, 2011 and February 28, 2011 - required the customers to answer simple three questions related to Toyota’s models. The winners were selected based on the correct answers which, in turn, qualified them for the lucky draw.

The Grand Prize winner was Chan Huan Hian, who won a Toyota Corolla Altis 2.0V, while Nur Haslinda Bt Yusof receieved a Toyota Vios TRD version as second prize. The third prize winner was Chan Guan Kien, whose prize was a Toyota Avanza 1.5S.

Other consolation prizes included trips to Japan, LED TV sets and Apple Ipads; in all, there were 108 prizes given out.
