Movie Contest: In Time

Never getting old… the dream that many humans have had for centuries. Having conducted extensive research into the human genes, scientists have finally been able to ‘switch off’ the gene that causes humans to become old.

But when no one gets old, then a new problem arises – the population starts to increase since no one dies. Even today, population explosions in some countries are causing social and environmental problems and the normal process of aging still exists.

To avoid overpopulation in this new age where no one gets old after 25, time has become the ‘currency’ and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever while the rest have to try to negotiate for their immortality.

Among the many who are poor is a young man who comes into a fortune of time, though too late to help his mother from dying.
 

With his new-found ‘wealth’, he becomes a target for the corrupt police force known as 'time keepers' and has to start running.

Justin Timberlake heads the cast of In Time, the movie which will be in Malaysian cinemas on October 27, 2011. Other stars include Olivia Wilde, Shyloh Oostwal, Johnny Galecki and Colin McGurk.

Before you send your entry by e-mail, you must read, understand and accept the Terms & Conditions of participation in this contest which are listed below:

1. This contest is open to all residents of Malaysia except employees of MTM Interactive Sdn Bhd (and its related companies), Twentieth Century Fox Film (M) Sdn Bhd, their immediate families, distributors, agents, newsagents and other persons related to this specific contest.

2. Entries are to be sent only by e-mail to this address: MTM.WEB@GMAIL.COM

3. Due to the possibility of e-mail transmission failing, proof of sending an e-mail entry will not be considered as proof of receipt.

4. All the questions must be answered otherwise the entry will be disqualified. Only one answer per question is accepted.

5. All details of the entrant required must be provided otherwise the entry will be disqualified.

6. Each entrant (based on the unique MyKad number) is allowed one entry only. This is important because prize winners will have to show their MyKad as proof of identity. Additional entries from the same person will be automatically deleted. If you are a non-Malaysian and do not possess a MyKad, then you may provide your passport number but you must state your nationality.

7. Determination on winners will be based on random selection of entries with the correct answers to all 3 questions. This will be done after the closing date and every correct entry will be assigned a number which will go into a box and mixed up. Allocation of prizes will start with the 3rd prizes and work backwards to the 1st prizes. This will enable every participant a better chance to win one of the prizes, regardless of whether the entry is submitted early or late in the contest period.

8. The decision of the judges will be final on all matters and no correspondence will be entertained.

9. The prize winners will be announced within ten days of the closing date and participants should check on our website if they have won. Winners are then required to collect their prizes from our office at the 12^th Floor of Centrepoint South, MidValley City at Lingkaran Syed Putra, Kuala Lumpur (tel: 03-20928888) within 1 month of the announcement. At our discretion, a reminder might be sent the address from which the winning entry was sent if the prizes are not claimed. The contest organizer does not accept responsibility for failure of such a notification e-mail to reach the mailbox of the winner for whatever reason as internet connections or service providers may have problems beyond our control.

10. All prizes must be claimed within the period stipulated. All costs related to collection of prizes will be borne by the winner. After the stipulated period for collection, uncollected prizes will be forfeited and no claims will be entertained.

11. Each participant is entitled to win one prize only. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items. MTM Interactive Sdn Bhd and Twentieth Century Fox Film (M) Sdn Bhd reserve the right to substitute prizes in the event that the prizes listed on this page are unavailable for reasons beyond our control.

12. MTM Interactive Sdn Bhd and Twentieth Century Fox Film (M) Sdn Bhd reserve the right to publish the names and photographs of the winners for publicity purposes.

13. Participation in this contest is voluntary and no entry fee or purchase is required. The participants must agree to abide by all the Terms & Conditions stated when they submit their entry.

14. MTM Interactive Sdn Bhd (and its related companies) and Twentieth Century Fox Film (M) Sdn Bhd reserve the right the use the entrants’ details provided by all participants for future communications and/or promotions.

15. The starting date of this contest is October 21, 2011 and the closing date is October 28, 2011. E-mail entries will be accepted only up till 11:59 pm Malaysian time on October 28, 2011. The winners will be announced on this website within 10 days of the closing date.
