Caldina Club Malaysia celebrates 2nd anniversary

The  Caldina Club Malaysia (CCM) celebrated its second anniversary this month at a resort in Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan. Prior to gathering for the anniversary dinner at the resort, club members formed their usual convoy by gathering at the MINES complex outside Kuala Lumpur. 120 members came from various parts of the country and were briefed on the day’s activities.

In order to ensure that a safe journey, the necessary permit was been obtained from the police and special arrangement was made with the toll concessionaire to allow the convoy to pass through two toll plazas without stopping. After a drive in heavy rain, the convoy arrived at the resort at 5:30 pm and quickly arranged the 120 Toyota Caldinas for a group photo.

The CCM 2nd Anniversary Dinner has the theme of “1Malaysia, 1CCM” and all the members with their family members enjoyed a  Malay/Chinese buffet with stage performances by CCM’s’ in-house talent’. There was also a 10-minute video presentation which featured the club’s past events which had also been featured on TV3.

Lending support to the club’s event were 30 individual/corporate sponsors who generously contributed prizes for the lucky draw worth which totaled more than RM28,000. Everyone went home with something from the lucky draw ranging from a small hamper to sport rims.

With more than 650 registered members (and the number keeps growing), CCM is believed to be the biggest Toyota Caldina owner community in the world.
