The 2010 version has a new face with cosmetic updates such as reprofiled front and rear aprons, side sills, a black plastic cover for the grille, twin tailpipes and plastic mouldings on the rear bumper. Technical specifications remain unchanged and customers can choose either a 1.6-litre engine (121 ps/154 Nm) or a 2.0-litre engine (143 ps/186.3 Nm).
The i30 M Sport is not the first Hyundai model in Malaysia to be enhanced with the MS Design body kit which has a value of RM8,000. Back in 2006, the Getz Cross also had similar enhancements from MS Design, an Austrian-based bodykit designer which supplies bodykits for over 500 models of companies ranging from Alfa Romeo to Mercedes-Benz and of course, Hyundai.
